VIDEOGRAPHY, IN VIDEO PRODUCTION, IS THE PROFESSION OF MAKING LIGHTING AND CAMERA CHOICES WHEN RECORDING PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES. THIS COURSE AIMS TO ESTABLISH THE STUDENTS WITH NECESSARY TECHNICAL AND AESTHETICAL SKILLS FOR MAKING SUCH DECISIONS. WHILE THE COURSE COVERS ASPECTS OF VIDEOGRAPHY SUCH AS LENS CHOICES, FRAMING, CAMERA BLOCKING, DEPTH OF FIELD, IT WILL ALSO GIVE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE STUDENTS TO EXPERIMENT DRAMATIC LIGHTING STYLES TO CREATE FILMIC ENVIRONMENTS. THE STUDENTS WILL ALSO BE PRESENTED SIGNIFICANT WORKS OF LEADING DIRECTORS OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND DIRECTORS THROUGH OUT THE COURSE.

ABLE TO MAKE CREATIVE DECISIONS ON CHOSING LENSES, CAMERA BLOCKING, LIGHTING, FILTERS, MOVEMENTS, SHOTS ETC.
ABLE TO USE THE TERMINOLOGY EFFICIENTLY
ABLE TO LIGHT ENVIRONMENTS DRAMATICALLY
THESE OBJECTIVES WILL BE ACHIEVED THROUGH LECTURES COVERING THEORITICAL ISSUES AND PRACTICING THESE ISSUES ON GIVEN CASES, AS WELL AS ANALYSING PREVIOUS SIGNIFICANT WORK OF DIRECTORS OF PHOTOGRAPHY.
THE COURSE WILL BE BASED ON LECTURES AND STUDIO WORK FOR PRACTICING ISSUES HELD IN LECTURES. THERE WILL BE ALSO SCREENINGS THROUGH OUT THE COURSE AND A FEW SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS BY PROFESSIONALS.
